During the 2024-25 season, nearly 300 students from the City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô participated in more than a dozen modified sports teams!
On Tuesday, all team participants gathered for our inaugural Middle School Athletics Celebration at the Â鶹ӰÒô High Stadium hosted by Â鶹ӰÒô Athletics. Each student-athlete received a certificate of recognition, and attendees enjoyed free pizza and snacks, courtesy of the Â鶹ӰÒô Booster Club and our Parent Teacher Associations at William S. Hackett Middle School, Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School and North Â鶹ӰÒô Middle School.
This year, our modified student-athletes have made Â鶹ӰÒô Athletics immensely proud with their determination, teamwork, resilience and strength. We commend those who stepped out of their comfort zones to try a new sport, as well as those who advanced in a sport they already know and love.
As a bonus to the festivities, the final round of the Â鶹ӰÒô Cup Flag Football tournament took place during the event due to a rainout on the original date. Despite a strong effort from Myers, North Â鶹ӰÒô triumphed with a 12-6 victory, claiming the trophy!
Congratulations to all our modified student-athletes on a tremendous year. We look forward to seeing you in action during the 2025-26 season. Go Falcons!
