The City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô Board of Education confirmed the following administrative change for Arbor Hill Elementary School on Thursday night:
Assistant principal William Flax-Leight is being transferred back to Giffen Memorial Elementary School, where he worked prior to last fall’s district-wide staffing reduction caused by anticipated cuts to state aid for the 2020-21 school year.
Janet Escoto-Lavoie will return as Arbor Hill Elementary’s assistant principal. She served on the Arbor Hill administrative team, alongside Principal Rosalind Gaines-Harrell, prior to district-wide staffing reassignments in September. Escoto-Lavoie will continue working at Â鶹ӰÒô School of Humanities (ASH) until moving back to Arbor Hill on July 1.
